On 14 July, the eighth session of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was held on the fifth call.

The following issues were addressed to the agenda of the session.

1. Results of socio-economic development of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the first half of 2018.

2. Approval of execution of state budget of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2017.

3. Amendments to the Law of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic “On Elections to the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”.

About the issues on agenda the economy minister of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Famil Seyidov, Chairman of the State Statistics Committee of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vagif Rasulov, finance minister of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Sabuhi Mammadov made speechs.

Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov reported on the results of socio-economic development of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the first half of 2018.

The law “on execution of state budget of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2017” was adopted in the session.

As regards the third issue on the agenda, it was noted that the Election Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan was amended by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 15, 2017 and March 6, 2018.

Accordaning to these amendments, the draft law to amend the law “on elections to the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic” was prepared.

The Law of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic "on amendments to the law of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic “on Elections to the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" was read out and passed.

The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis expressed his gratitude to those serving in the socio-economic development, protecting stability and security of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the first half of 2018.

Thus the eighth session of the fifth call of Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has completed its work.
