On September 6, 2024, an international conference called "Law and climate" was held in Baku under the joint organization of the Union of Azerbaijan Judges and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
President of the Union of Judges of Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev, President-designate of COP29, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, Chairman of the Supreme Court and Judicial-Legal Council Inam Karimov, President of the International Union of Judges Duro Sessa, Commissioner for Human Rights of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva, Deputy Chairman of the Constitution Court of Turkey Basri Bagci, Chairman of the Bar Association Anar Bagirov, judges, lawyers, legal scholars and international experts and also Chairman of the Supreme Court of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Saadat Bektashi participated in the event.
