On December 20, a scientific-practical conference on "Nakhchivan in the state and legal history of Azerbaijan" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the autonomous republic was held under the organization of the Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The participants of the event first visited the national leader Heydar Aliyev's monument in the main square of the city of Nakhchivan, laid flowers in front of it, and then went to the Heydar Aliyev Museum and got acquainted with the exhibits reflecting the life of the great personality and multi-faceted state activities.

At the event that continued  in "Nakhchivan Palace", the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and the memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute's silence. The event continued with the screening of a video dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Fuad Najafli, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Saadat Bektashi, the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Arzu Abdullayev, the Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic Jeyhun Jalilov, the acting Minister of Justice Huseyn Safarov, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Prosecutor Sanan Pashayev along with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Autonomous Republic Suleyman Nemetov The presidents and judges of the courts operating in the autonomous republic, the heads of the central executive authorities and other officials participated at the conference.
